Los Angeles metallers W.A.S.P. have announced the UK and Ireland leg of their 1984 To Headless World Tour.
Blackie Lawless and co. will play tracks from their first four studio albums – ‘W.A.S.P.’ (1984), ‘The Last Command’ (1985), ‘Inside the Electric Circus’ (1986) and ‘The Headless Children (1989) – at 13 shows throughout October 2020.
The trek opens at Bristol SWX on Thursday 1st October and calls in at London, Nottingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Manchester, Wolverhampton, Leeds, Norwich and Coventry before wrapping up at Coventry Empire on Thursday 15th October.
Tickets to the tour go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 8am on Friday 8th November.
Announcing the tour, W.A.S.P. wrote: “1984 to Headless is the name of W.A.S.P.’s 2020 World Tour, and it is a celebration of "Hits from the Band’s First 4 Albums!
“The 1st Self-titled Album, that in some countries was called 'Winged Assassins', featuring songs from that now classic record, 'I Wanna Be Somebody' and 'L.O.V.E. Machine', to the 2nd Album: "The Last Command", along with "Inside the Electric Circus", to the iconic Masterpiece, "The Headless Children".
