The Real Sandi Thom has stepped forward, and surely no one has ever been quite so happy to get the blues.
Sandi Thom emerges on On May 17th, with a new album ‘Merchants and Thieves’, of which single ‘This Ol’ World’ is released on April 18th  on Guardian Angel Records; a brilliant duet with blues guitar extraordinaire Joe Bonamassa.
Sandi has formed a close bond with guitarist Joe Bonamassa, after spending time last year touring with him, and performing as his vocalist on a number of his shows when he lost his voice. The reaction Sandi received from the devoted Bonamassa fans was incredible. Sandi could see how loyal they were, when entering this new world of blues.
 Joe quickly volunteered to play guitar and sing with Sandi on her track ‘This Ol’ World’, which Sandi described as “Watershed moment”.
‘This Ol’ World’ is probably one of the most contemporary blues songs you’ll hear all year , and the touring continues as Sandi will be supporting Joe Bonamassa on his London HMV Hammermith  date, on May 22nd, as well as embarking on her own solo UK tour in April.
