Public Service Broadcasting is the corduroy-clad brainchild of London-based J. Willgoose, Esq. who, along with his drumming companion, Wrigglesworth, is on a quest to inform, educate and entertain audiences around the globe.

PSB's uniquely spell-binding live AV Transmissions see them weave samples from old public information films, archive footage and propaganda material around live drums, guitar, banjo and electronics as they teach the lessons of the past through the music of the future - beaming our past back at us through vintage TV sets and state of the art modern video projection devices.

PSB released their debut album INFORM – EDUCATE – ENTERTAIN on Test Card Recordings on 6 May which features past singles ROYGBIV, Spitfire, Everest & Signal 30.

The album debuted at #21 in the UK album charts and received widespread critical acclaim including 5* Album of the Month from Artrocker Magazine plus 4* reviews from The Guardian, The Independent and many more.

The next single taken from the album, ‘Theme From PSB’ (12 August), is their summery, banjo-infused calling card which will soundtrack a string of festival slots around the UK. These include headline shows at Secret Garden Party, End Of The Road & Wickerman, plus appearances at Glastonbury, Standon Calling, Green Man and many more. They are also set for two very high profile support slots, with the Rolling Stones at Hyde Park and New Order at Jodrell Bank.

The band burst onto the scene in May 2012 with their critically-acclaimed EP, The War Room, which has now sold over 14 000 copies and earned them many high profile supporters at 6Music, XFM, Artrocker, The Independent, Time Out and too many more tomention.
