The Gig Cartel - Venues: Tamworth, Assembly Rooms

Tamworth Assembly Rooms is the premier entertainments venue in Tamworth and host to a wide variety of events. The grade two listed building currently houses a full season of professional programmed events for all tastes. Drama, Dance, Music, Panto, Comedy and Variety.

We are also host to a number of talented local groups and community associations which perform some amazing shows through the year.

Tamworth Assembly Rooms is currently in the development phase of a major project to make it a building that Tamworth can be proud of for the next 125 years. This project is kindly supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Their funding has so far supported research into the building’s past and consultation with the local community about the building’s future. It has also allowed us to develop detailed plans to improve Tamworth Assembly Rooms and we will soon be applying for further funding to make these plans a reality.
